Rising star Julia Ilobekemen Omokhuale competes in the Speed test at an RBC Training Ground qualifying event earlier this year. Julia is one of 100 athletes invited to this year’s National Final.
Today, RBC Training Ground proudly announced the Top 100 athletes who will compete for RBC ‘Future Olympian’ status at the 2023 National Final, being held in Toronto, Ontario.
This past year more than 2,200 young athletes participated at RBC Training Ground qualifying events across Canada in front of 12 National Sport Organization (NSO) partners, all looking for Olympic-level talent. Among those that advanced to sport-specific testing, these exceptional athletes were identified as the most promising and will compete one last time on December 2nd for the chance at funding and support as the RBC ‘Future Olympians’ program extension.
Join us in celebrating these remarkable athletes, who are now one step closer to realizing their Olympic dreams. The Top 30 ‘Future Olympians’ will be announced following the National Final event in December.
